Morrisons has unveiled its Christmas advert, a reimagining of the classic fairytale Goldilocks and the Three Bears. The festive spot shows Mummy and Daddy Bear in frantic preparations after receiving a last-minute text from Baby Bear that reads: “Home for Xmas! Bringing someone xx”.
Daddy Bear's Supermarket Struggle
In the advert, Daddy Bear is sent to Morrisons to do the food shopping. He struggles to free his trolley from the line and gets down on all fours to admire the delights of the deli counter. Meanwhile, Mummy Bear decorates the Christmas tree, taking a brief break to scratch her back on its branches.
A Warm Welcome for Goldilocks
But nothing can prepare the Bear family for Baby Bear's arrival, when he appears at the door with his new girlfriend, Goldilocks. Rather than scaring her away, the family welcomes her at their dinner table, where “Goldie” remarks that the meal is “a bit too hot for me”.
