Morrisons Offers Extra Points for EV Charging in Car Parks

Morrisons is rolling out a new initiative from this week that allows electric vehicle drivers to earn additional loyalty points when charging their cars. The supermarket has partnered with Motor Fuel Group (MFG) to offer five Morrisons More Points for every £1 spent at MFG EV Power charging bays, including those at Morrisons petrol stations.

The points can be redeemed at any Morrisons supermarket, providing savings on shopping. Matt McLellan, Group Customer, Marketing and Data Director at Morrisons, said the partnership rewards customers for charging on the road and helps them save in store.

As part of the deal, MFG will invest £105 million in upgrading Morrisons forecourts, including installing 250 new ultra-rapid charging bays this year. Martin Symes, EV Director at MFG, said the collaboration aims to create a seamless charging experience and support the UK’s electric future.
