Morrisons is offering a giant 4.5kg Toblerone for Father's Day, priced at £80 but reduced to £50 for shoppers with a More Card. The supersized Swiss chocolate bar, weighing nearly 10lbs, contains more than 12 times the chocolate of a regular Toblerone and measures 80cm in length.

Morrisons describes the bar as 'the ultimate gift for dads and father figures with a sweet tooth'. A spokesperson said: 'Made with the classic Toblerone recipe of smooth Swiss milk chocolate, honey and crunchy almond nougat, the giant triangular treat is designed to wow on Father's Day. Whether it's shared with the whole family or hidden away for dad to enjoy piece by piece, this mega bar is guaranteed to make a massive impression.'
More Card Discount
The More Card price makes it around £35 cheaper than similar oversized Toblerones sold elsewhere, according to Morrisons. The giant bars have previously been available at Costco.

Shoppers have taken to social media to share their thoughts. One commented: '£50!!! Who has this amount of money to waste!' Another said: 'With the cost of living crisis, why would anyone spend £80 on one bar of chocolate?' However, some were impressed, with one shopper noting: 'Got one last year... took around 9 months to eat it was a right pain to cut up but worth it. May have to have another.'
The giant Toblerone launches in Morrisons stores on June 8 and will be available until Father's Day on Sunday, June 21.
