Meghan Markle has released a new video for her lifestyle brand As Ever, ignoring recent criticism over her social media activity. The Duchess of Sussex appeared in an eight-second clip promoting her wines, dressed in white and ivory as she walked down a path holding two glasses and a bottle of sparkling wine. The video also shows her opening a bottle of rosé, with two wine bottles in a bucket on a table alongside a cheeseboard and flower vase.
As Ever currently offers the 2021 Vintage Napa Valley Brut, the 2024 Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc, and the 2024 Napa Valley Rosé. The Duchess is seen toasting with another woman and later sitting on a bench holding her rosé before walking away.
The video comes days after Meghan shared a "spring into summer" update on Instagram, featuring photos of Prince Harry playing football with Prince Archie, Princess Lilibet in a Beyoncé t-shirt, and Meghan in denim. She also showed garden produce and a photo of speckled eggs, revealing the family welcomed hatchlings. A video of her chopping onions drew heavy criticism online.
Meghan's post included a card from Harry for their eighth wedding anniversary, addressed to "the one and only." The carousel also featured their beagle Mia and a throwback photo from March 2017, months before their engagement. Some critics mocked her for allegedly presenting the old photo as a recent one.
