McVitie's has launched a new snack that has shoppers eager to visit Home Bargains to try it. With 90 days until Christmas Day, many are looking to stock up early.
The new product is not a biscuit but a slice, and fans believe it is just as delicious. Well-known foodie page New Foods UK posted an image of the product on social media, revealing it is currently stocked in Home Bargains. Customers are already declaring them "yum."
Infused with warming seasonal flavours, each slice is "perfectly balanced for a comforting, indulgent treat, made for cosy tea breaks and sharing moments." Each pack contains five slices, with every one separately wrapped, making them ideal for packed lunches and popping in your bag before heading to work.

That is not the only new seasonal offering from McVitie's. Shoppers have also been buzzing over the new McVitie's Penguins, which New Foods UK shared are now out at Morrisons for Christmas. The product is described as "Milk Chocolate with a Smooth, Creamy Cocoa Flavoured Filling and Biscuit Pieces."

Currently available at Morrisons for 70p, reduced from £1, it is a good moment to stock up ahead of December 25. At that price, you could treat everyone at the Christmas table to a little nibble throughout the day.
TikToker @snackinnsippin posted a review of the new treat, noting that this Penguin product still features a joke, despite departing from the traditional biscuit format. Upon taking a bite, he remarked that it had the "penguin filling on the bottom, and then the chocolate on top is filled with some weird crispy bit," which is biscuit pieces. He described it as "gorgeous" and "so good," saying: "It's like the bourbon-y biscuity bits broken up, covered in that chocolate, and then the penguin layer is at the bottom."
