McDonald's has unveiled a new menu this week, and fans are going wild for the return of a well-loved item. The fast food chain has introduced a menu inspired by the 2026 FIFA World Cup, and among the offerings, fans have spotted the return of a cult favorite: standalone Big Mac sauce.
Limited-Time Offering
For a limited time, McDonald's will be offering its iconic Big Mac sauce as a standalone item. The announcement has left many people excited. Commenting on the popular Facebook page Newfoodsuk, one fan, Anna Messer, expressed enthusiasm: 'Big Mac sauce - do you think they will let me buy a crate of it.'
Fan Reactions
In a later post on the same page, another fan wrote: 'Had to stock up on the Big Mac sauces from McDonald’s! Also the new World Cup packaging is so cool!' Another fan, Elliott Evans III, replied: 'Good plan! What’s the expire date on these?'
However, not everyone was convinced. Kim Slater commented: 'Bigmac sauce is just burger sauce! Helmans burger sauce is the closest one flavour wise just that it has gherkin bits instead of bigmacs slices.'
New Menu Items
Alongside the Big Mac sauce, McDonald's has launched several new items: the Sweet Caroline BBQ Stack, Mexican Chipotle Chicken burger, Crunchy Cheese Bites and Sharebox, and the Galaxy Salted Caramel McFlurry. The chain also unveiled Big Mac FIFA World Cup meals, each including one of six collectible cups featuring football icons such as David Beckham, Ronaldinho Gaucho, and Thierry Henry.
