Lush has added a 90s-themed shower jelly to its Halloween range, inspired by the alien egg toys that were once a playground staple. Named 'Alien Egg Farm', the product evokes memories of the small alien eggs that reportedly 'gave birth' when placed in the fridge.
The shower jelly is described by Lush as 'zesty' and 'full of sweet lychee juice and lime peel infusion', with a scent reminiscent of the brand's Avobath bath bomb. It is completely vegan and skin-friendly, and contains a gummy alien with a firmer texture. Lush recommends popping the jelly in the fridge or freezer before showering for a refreshing experience.
The 250g size costs £10, while a larger 1.8kg version is available exclusively in stores for £40. Lush notes that the supersized option offers almost double the product compared to four 250g pots.
Social media users have shared their memories of the original alien eggs, with one person recalling sleeping with one under a pillow until it melted, and another mentioning a school rumour that putting them back to back would result in a baby.
