Scots who have been dreaming of climbing their first Munro or trying wild swimming in a Scottish loch now have a chance to make that ambition a reality. Livingston Designer Outlet has launched a new campaign, 'Start Your First', to encourage people across Scotland to take up an outdoor activity they have always wanted to try.
A lack of confidence, uncertainty about where to begin, or not having the right kit are among the reasons many people spend years saying "one day" to an adventure. The campaign is designed to help those who have never known where to start, whether it's hiking a first hill, taking up trail running or exploring Scotland's cycling routes.
Four winners to receive £200 gift cards
Four selected participants will each win a £200 gift card from some of the outlet's leading outdoor brands, including The North Face, Trespass, Regatta and Tog24. The prize aims to provide the clothing, equipment and essentials needed to turn ambition into action.
The launch follows research from the Observatory for Sport in Scotland (OSS) that highlights the opportunity to encourage more people across Scotland to embrace active lifestyles. Livingston Designer Outlet says the campaign is about inspiring Scots to discover the physical and mental wellbeing benefits of getting active outdoors.
