Lidl has introduced a new autumn jumper that offers a budget-friendly alternative to a high-end version available at John Lewis. The supermarket's latest Special Buy clothing range has landed in stores, featuring the Esmara Ladies' Brown Jumper in the Middle Aisle for £7.99.
The brown jumper is made with Lycra "for a superior fit," according to Lidl. Available in sizes small to large, it features dropped shoulders with ribbed detailing across the neckline, waist, and wrist cuffs.
Similar Look, Big Savings
Shoppers who admire the Whistles' Curved Hem Knit Pure Wool Jumper from John Lewis may find Lidl's version an affordable option. Both jumpers share a warm brown colour and a relaxed dropped-shoulder fit. However, the high-end version is priced at £85, reduced from £115, while Lidl's costs just £7.99.
There are key differences: Lidl's jumper uses a synthetic blend with a straighter cut and loose cuffs, whereas Whistles' is 100% wool with a curved hem and tighter cuffs. Choosing Lidl's version would save shoppers around £77.

Fashion shoppers may also notice the new Esmara Ladies' Light Beige Jumper, which has similarities to Hobbs' £69 Nell Chunky Cable Jumper and Barbour's Hampton Knit Sweater, available at Frasers for £58.
Additionally, the Esmara Ladies Beige Teddy Fleece Jacket is priced at £8.99, featuring a zip fastening and two oversized pockets.
In other autumn news, Aldi is launching Latte and Frappe Duo Sachets for 99p each, arriving in stores on October 11. An Aldi spokesperson said: "These delicious drinks are the perfect way to embrace cosy season."
