Lidl's Silvercrest Premium Jug Blender will launch in stores on October 11, 2026, priced at £59.99—or £49.99 for shoppers who scan their Lidl Plus app at the till. The appliance is being promoted as a budget-friendly alternative to Ninja's CrushBOSS Intelligent Blender, which retails at £154.99 directly from the manufacturer, a difference of over £100.
A budget blender with premium features
In its online description, Lidl says the device is "perfect for smoothies, soups, sauces, crushed ice, nuts and more." The supermarket notes that, at the press of a button, ingredients can be heated to serving temperature through high-speed blade friction.
The gadget features six preset programmes alongside 10 manually adjustable speed settings "for versatile results." Lidl adds that each unit has "specially hardened six-blade stainless steel cutters" which can "effortlessly chop even hard ingredients."
How it compares to the Ninja model
Ninja's CrushBOSS Intelligent Blender is available online directly from the retailer for £154.99 (not during a sale), according to the Liverpool Echo. In its online description, Ninja said: "Ninja CrushBOSS is Ninja's most powerful and intelligent blender. Backed by 1200 watts of legendary crushing power and guided by SmartMenu Technology, it delivers chef-level results at the touch of a dial."
The description continues: "The curved, square-bottom design eliminates dead zones, stacks ingredients to promote even blending, and ensures nothing is left unblended. Guesswork-free prep at the turn of a dial for precise, knife-like chopping and mincing, plus 10 manual speed settings for total control."
