Lidl has launched a new £4.99 bum bag in its UK stores, and shoppers are already snapping it up. The item, available in blue and red, is designed to keep essentials like phones, keys, and dog treats within easy reach while leaving hands free.
Dog Walkers Delighted
One shopper in the BARGAIN LOVERS Facebook group posted a photo of the bum bag, captioned: "Who needs a Lidl Bum Bag? These are NEW in, so be fast!" Another commented: "A new dog walking bag," highlighting its usefulness for carrying dog treats, waste bags, and keys. Another proud owner said: "We are already proud owners of these, and we have the matching bucket hats, sliders and socks!"
Mixed Reactions
Not everyone was impressed. One customer questioned: "Nobody, who would wear one of those?" while another simply said: "No thanks." Despite this, the bum bag is part of Lidl's expanding range of branded clothing and accessories, which has become hugely popular. Previous launches include trainers, sliders, socks, T-shirts, hoodies, bucket hats, Christmas jumpers, and even matching pet accessories, many of which sold out quickly.
Lidl's Growing Brand Appeal
Lidl operates 1,015 branches across the UK and has built a reputation for affordable groceries and household goods. The new bum bag, priced at just £4.99, is the latest example of the retailer broadening its accessory range. Bum bags can be worn around the waist, across the chest, or over the shoulder, making them a favourite for walking, travelling, and festivals.
