Lidl has launched a limited-time promotion offering customers a free bakery item with every purchase until February 25. Shoppers can claim one of 23 baked goods, including baguettes, croissants, and pain au chocolat, by using the Lidl Plus app.
To participate, customers simply need to scan the Lidl Plus app at the till when making any purchase, excluding infant formula and gift cards. After scanning, a digital voucher for a complimentary bakery item will appear in the app. The voucher is valid for seven days and can be redeemed by activating it in the 'Coupons For You' section before checkout.
The promotion is not a one-time offer; shoppers will receive a voucher after each visit as long as 24 hours have passed since their last purchase. To see which item they have won, customers spin a digital wheel in the app, which presents a choice of two or three bakery products.
No additional purchase is required when redeeming the voucher, so customers can simply collect their free bakery item without buying anything else. However, only one bakery item can be claimed per transaction.
