Lidl is set to release the SENSIPLAST Heated Electric Cushion in all of its 1,000 UK stores on Thursday, October 1, with a retail price of £17.99. Lidl Plus members can purchase it for a discounted £16.19. The cushion, which resembles a standard sofa accessory, features a hidden heating function designed to provide warmth during the colder months.
Features and Specifications
The cushion offers six different heat settings and is made from "soft, fluffy material of 100 per cent polyester." It includes a "quick heating function" that can be activated or deactivated once plugged into an outlet. Users can hold it close like a hot water bottle to help stop shivering.
Additional features include electronic temperature control, automatic switch-off after 90 minutes, a red LED light indicating the device is on, and a detachable control unit. The cover, with an integrated heat pad, is machine-washable at 30°C. The cushion has a power consumption of 100W, measures L40 x W30cm, and comes with a 2.8m cable and a 3-year warranty.

The heated cushion is available for in-store collection only, with no home delivery option. Shoppers can check stock levels at their local Lidl using the online store finder by entering their postcode. It joins the supermarket's 'Middle of Lidl Aisle' selection of rotating deals on homeware, DIY tools, and kitchen accessories.
On the same day, Lidl will also launch the SENSIPLAST Back & Neck Heat Pad, priced at £14.99 or £13.49 for Lidl Plus members. The device attaches to the neck and can be worn over the back to provide warmth. Lidl describes it as offering "soothing warmth for your back and neck with 6 heat settings," and notes it is machine-washable at 30°C on a delicates cycle, with electronic temperature control, automatic switch-off after 90 minutes, a 100W power consumption, and a 62 x 41cm size.
