Lidl has announced it will offer a complete traditional Christmas dinner for just £1.39 per person in 2026, with the items available in stores from December 19 to December 24 (Christmas Eve).
The budget supermarket confirmed the festive spread will centre on the Birchwood British Small Turkey (3kg), priced at £8.85, which serves as the main showpiece. The roast pairs with Lidl's Sage and Onion Stuffing Mix (170g) at 45p.
Fresh produce at 9p each
Lidl is also cutting the cost of Christmas trimmings, with essential fresh produce - sprouts (500g), potatoes (2kg), carrots (1kg) and parsnips (500g) - all priced at 9p each. Yorkshire Puddings (15 per pack) are available at 46p, while Gravy Granules (300g) cost 99p.
The supermarket said it is championing British farming this Christmas by reaffirming its commitment to quality, fairness and long-term relationships with British suppliers. The prices on fresh produce are 100% Lidl-funded, meaning producers will see no change to the price they receive throughout the festive season.
Investment in lower prices
Richard Bourns, Lidl GB's Chief Commercial Officer, said: "With household budgets remaining under pressure, we're on a mission to deliver unbeatable festive value to our shoppers this Christmas. By pricing a complete Christmas dinner at less than £1.40 per head, we're giving reassurance from the very start of the season that we won't be beaten on price, and we won't compromise on quality."
Bourns added: "We've already invested £400 million in lowering prices this year, and we aren't stopping there. Between additional price cuts and a further £75 million in Lidl Plus savings in the run up to Christmas, we're making sure British families get the value they deserve. No guesswork, no festive price shock - just unbeatable value, locked in."
He also stressed that the value does not come at the expense of producers, noting: "Crucially, that value never comes at the expense of producers and every penny of our seasonal promotions is funded directly by us. That means we guarantee our farmers the same full, fair, contracted price they rely on throughout the season."
