Lidl £15 puffer jacket rivals H&M and Frasers styles

Lidl is releasing a new men's puffer jacket on Sunday, November 15, priced at £14.99, with a design similar to more expensive options from H&M and Frasers. The ESMARA Men's Puffer Jacket will be available in more than 1,000 Lidl stores across the UK, and shoppers with a Lidl Plus account can buy it for £11.99.

The jacket comes in three colourways: Mid Brown, Black and Brown. It features quilted sections packed with insulating material, which create air pockets that retain body heat while shielding against the cold, offering warmth without the bulk of a heavier coat.

Budget Alternative to High Street Brands

The Lidl jacket is positioned as a budget-friendly alternative to the Water-Repellent Puffer Jacket at H&M, which retails at £54.99. Visually, the two are hard to distinguish, but the key difference lies in convenience. The jacket will be sold exclusively in store, not online, and shoppers are advised to use Lidl's online store finder to check availability on launch day and beyond.

For those considering the H&M option, the retailer charges a standard home delivery fee of £3.99, but loyalty scheme members get free standard shipping on orders of £40 or more, and click-and-collect from a local branch is free. However, customers choosing click-and-collect have only seven days to collect their parcel before it is returned to the warehouse.

Customer Feedback and Premium Options

Previous buyers of the H&M jacket have expressed satisfaction. One customer said: "Bought this for my 14-year-old son and he loves it! Says the fit is perfect and it is nice and warm." Another added: "Nice, very big though!"

For a more premium choice, Frasers is stocking the Mens Padded Puffer Jacket With Zip Pockets for £18, reduced from £57.99. Like the H&M offering, there are no obvious differences to the budget Lidl piece. Frasers charges a standard home delivery fee of £4.99 per order, with no free delivery threshold for home orders. Click-and-collect also costs £4.99, but orders exceeding £200 receive a £10 voucher to spend in store.
