Lidl has introduced a £14.99 TRONIC Portable Air Cooler that it claims can keep users cool for up to seven hours. The device, available in stores nationwide from Thursday 25 June, arrives as the Met Office issues red heat warnings for parts of the UK, with temperatures predicted to reach 38°C.
Features and Design
The portable cooler includes three air speed settings and a 700ml water tank that provides cooling and humidification using pure water. It also features a dimmable LED mood light with seven colours and a colour-change mode, allowing users to cycle through options while the cooler operates. A practical carry handle makes it easy to move between rooms.
Additional Cooling Options
For those seeking more powerful cooling, Lidl is also selling the TRONIC 3-in-1 Air Conditioner for £149. This unit combines air conditioning, fan cooling, and dehumidifying functions, with two fan speeds and transport wheels for easy mobility. According to Lidl, it is “a cost-effective addition to any home” for those needing greater cooling than a standard fan provides.
Other Cooling Products
The full range of Lidl's cooling collection, available from Thursday 25 June, includes: Tronic 3-in-1 Air Conditioner (£149), Tronic Large Bladeless Fan (£59.99), Tronic Tower Fan (£17.99), Tronic Bladeless Mini Desk Fan (£14.99), Tronic Portable Air Cooler (£14.99), Tronic Portable Fan (£7.99), Livarno TopCool Pillow (£6.99), Zoofari Dog Cooling Mat (£4.99), and Livarno Coldtouch Pillowcase (£3.99).
