Krispy Kreme is helping customers cope with the loss of an hour's sleep due to Daylight Saving Time by offering a free dozen doughnuts. The promotion runs on Monday, March 9, the day after clocks spring forward.
Customers who purchase any dozen doughnuts at participating shops will receive a free Original Glazed dozen. The offer is available while supplies last, and can also be redeemed via the Krispy Kreme app using the promo code SPRING.
“Daylight Saving Time can leave people running on one less hour of sleep,” said Alison Holder, Krispy Kreme Chief Brand and Product Officer. “We’re helping everyone bounce back in one of the sweetest ways we know how – a free Original Glazed dozen when guests buy any dozen.”
This follows last month's Friday the 13th promotion, where Krispy Kreme gave away 13,000 boxes of doughnuts to random customers. Winners had 13 days to claim their free dozen, starting February 15.
Additionally, Krispy Kreme recently launched its limited-time OREO Cookie Collection, featuring three new doughnuts: the Golden Oreo, Chocolate Oreo Dream, and Oreo Cookie and Kreme.
