Krispy Kreme has unveiled a brand-new doughnut inspired by hit BBC show The Traitors. The doughnut company has teamed up with the TV show to launch a limited-edition treat inspired by the show's famous battle between Traitors and Faithfuls.
Bringing some sneaky intrigue to coffee breaks nationwide, the new doughnut features one of two surprise fillings hidden in the centre, mirroring the mystery and deception at the heart of the beloved programme. One centre is bright green, based on the show's scheming Traitors, hidden beneath a layer of chocolate. The other has a nod to the faithful contestants with a bright orange centre – but both feature a decorative chocolate coated shield on the top.
Price and availability
The special edition doughnut, priced at £2.99, lands on shelves from September 28 and will be available for a limited time only in Krispy Kreme stores and selected supermarkets nationwide.
But the sweet treats aren't the only prize on offer, with customers who purchase a four-pack of the special edition doughnuts in with the chance to win an exclusive Traitors merchandise bundle. Fans of the show will be able to win the bundle if they find a golden coin sticker hidden inside their box of doughnuts.
Prize bundle details
The prize package includes a range of themed goodies such as The Traitors quill pen, a plush keyring, a voucher to play The Traitors: Anywhere, a pack of The Traitors Chews, a "Traitor or Faithful" Yankee Candle and even a themed Christmas card.

Show return and previous launches
The launch comes as the latest celebrity edition of the show is set to air from October 1. Featuring a new cast of famous faces, they will tackle gruelling challenges and tense roundtables in a bid to follow season one’s much-loved Traitor, Alan Carr. Among the stars joining host Claudia Winkleman for the upcoming season are comedian James Acaster, actor Bella Ramsey and presenter Romesh Ranganathan.
The Traitors-inspired range follows a string of popular launches from Krispy Kreme, including its recent Pokémon-themed collection, as the doughnut chain continues to tap into some of the biggest entertainment franchises in the world.
