Kids Eat Free in Scotland: Summer 2026 Deals

As the summer holidays approach, many families in Scotland are looking for ways to enjoy meals out without breaking the bank. Several restaurants and supermarket cafés across the country are offering 'kids eat free' deals, often extended to all week long, providing significant savings for parents.

Tesco Cafés: Free Hot Meals All Week

At 330 participating Tesco Café and Coffee Shops across Scotland, children can eat completely free of charge. For the first time, this offer has been extended to weekends, making it available all week long. Running from now until September 1, the deal requires an adult to make one full purchase—which can be as low as 65 pence for an apple—and scan their Clubcard at the till.

The offer covers one free hot meal per child, including options like fish fingers, baked chicken strips, and pork sausages. Breakfast choices such as egg & soldiers or pancakes are also available, as well as a cold pick 'n' mix lunch deal. Claire De Silva, Head of Communities at Tesco, said: "We know that household budgets can be really stretched, especially over the long summer holiday, so offering free meals to children during this time is just one of the ways we can support families."

There is no limit on how many times families can claim the offer.
