Iceland shoppers are "obsessed" with a new ready meal said to boast a whopping 89g protein per serving. The supermarket is popular among customers due to its wide range of convenient frozen options, as well as exclusive branded products, fresh groceries and more.
Like its competitors, Iceland often adds new additions to its offering, and one new dish in particular is receiving rave reviews online. Iceland partnered with Myprotein back in September 2022 and it now stocks dozens of its products.
Myprotein Chicken Tikka Makhani
Among a number of handy ready meals is the new Myprotein Chicken Tikka Makhani (600g), which costs £6 - or £5 when bought as part of a two for £10 promotion. Described as "cooked seared tikka marinated chicken with cooked basmati rice in a medium spiced creamy sauce, with red onion, peppers and peas", the dish has 711 calories, including 7.1g of fibre and a huge 89.4g of protein.
It has an average rating of 4.5 out of a possible five stars on the Iceland website. Giving the meal five stars, one happy customer wrote: "Absolutely obsessed with this! It was really filling and had so much chicken in it! Very tasty! Will buy again!"
