The BBC's Celebrity Traitors returns on Thursday, and Iceland has launched a themed food range to mark the occasion. The collection, exclusive to the supermarket, includes savoury snacks, sweet treats and party games, all branded with the show's iconic imagery.
The range features items like The Traitors: The Round Table Jalapeno Wheel 12 Pack, Chocolate Muffins 4 Pack, Death by Chocolate Brownies 2 Pack, a Jelly Bean Spinner Game and a Chew Bag. Each product is priced between £1.50 and £5.00.
The brownies are the standout
The Death by Chocolate Brownies 2 Pack, costing £2.50, were described as "some of the gooiest brownies I've ever tried" and included white chocolate pieces inside. The product description on Iceland's website reads: "Chocolate brownie with white chocolate pieces and white chocolate with caramel pieces topped with chocolate flavour icing, milk and cocoa compound and a sugar paste decoration."
The Chocolate Muffins 4 Pack, at £4.50, contain three chocolate muffins and one raspberry. The filling was "yummy" and "not bad at all for just over £1 a muffin." The Jalapeno Wheel pack, priced at £5.00, was praised as "a fantastic idea," though the reviewer wished there were more of the hot ones.
The jellybean game is diabolical fun
The Traitors Jelly Bean Spinner Game, 100g for £2.50, was described as "absolutely perfect for a party" because it "doesn't get old." The first jellybean tasted was curry, which "tasted vile," and a partner was caught out by the chilli flavour, having to spit it out immediately.
The Chew Bag, 120g for £1.50, offers either a sweet or sour filling, but the reviewer noted a preference for the jellybean option because it feels more like a game than picking randomly from a standard bag of sweets.
