Hundreds of customers lined up along Oxford Road hoping to bag a bargain at BoohooMAN's sample sale pop-up in Manchester. The fashion retailer opened the special event on Tuesday (September 29), offering shoppers heavily discounted clothing for £10 per filled bag.
Queues stretch past All Saints Library
The sale ran from 12pm to 6pm, but eager shoppers flocked to Oxford Road early, with passers-by documenting the mammoth queues snaking down the street. One TikTok user, Aaron, arrived at around 11am and filmed the queue stretching past All Saints Library before the doors had even opened.
As more shoppers arrived, the line continued to build, turning the pop-up into a major sight on Oxford Road. Bargain hunters faced a lengthy wait before they could start filling their bags.
Shoppers grab free cookies and multiple bags
Alongside clothing, shoppers could grab free Gooey cookies, with the cookie company joining BoohooMAN for the event. The retailer shared clips on social media showing some customers walking away with as many as eight bags in a single purchase.
Videos from inside the event showed shoppers rifling through the rails, with some areas of the shop floor quickly left with empty racks. But while some shoppers were already inside hunting for bargains, huge numbers were still waiting outside to get through the doors.

The fashion giant has documented on its social media that customers who missed out on the deals will be able to access a sample sale on its website too.
