Home Bargains has reduced the price of a £45 skincare product to £3.49 this week, and it promises shoppers "smoother, brighter skin" among a host of other benefits.
Claiming to reduce the look of pores, uneven pigmentation, dark spots and acne scars is the Burt's Bees Even Tone Liquid Exfoliant, which can be seen on the Home Bargains website reduced by 92%. The exfoliant comes in a 236.5ml bottle and is intended for regular or everyday use with a "gentle" formula.
What's in the formula?
The product contains 10% AHA, BHA and PHA, which are all chemical exfoliating acids commonly used in skincare to remove dead skin cells, smooth texture, and improve your complexion.
Home Bargains' product description says: "Reduce the look of pores and uneven pigmentation with this gentle 10% AHA, BHA & PHA liquid exfoliant from Burt's Bees, revealing smoother, brighter skin with regular use.
"Reduce the look of pores and improve the look of uneven pigmentation like dark spots and post acne blemish marks. This liquid exfoliant contains a 10% blend of AHA, PHA and BHA, that gently exfoliates to reveal brighter, radiant skin after regular use."
Burt's Bees Even Tone Liquid Exfoliant is "lovingly made by the number one dermatologist recommended natural skincare brand". Home Bargains also notes that packaging may vary.
Alternative Nivea option
An alternative option is the Nivea Luminous 630 Daily Liquid Exfoliant 100ml, which is also on sale at Home Bargains for £3.49, reduced from £16.99.
The "gentle yet effective" exfoliant contains 4% AHA, 1% PHA and aloe vera. It is said to even skin in seven days and well as helping to refine texture and reduce pores.
