Home Bargains has slashed the price of a perfume mist from £25 to just £1.99, offering shoppers a 92% saving on a product it says can 'boost confidence'. The 250ml Glow Perfume Mist in Vanilla Almond and Salted Caramel is now available at the budget retailer for a fraction of its recommended retail price.
Affordable alternative to premium brands
The Glow Perfume Mist is widely considered a budget-friendly alternative to Sol de Janeiro's Brazilian Crush Cheirosa 62 body spray, which costs £31.50 for a 240ml bottle at Boots. Both share a sweet, gourmand scent with notes of vanilla, salted caramel, and almond, though some shoppers note the Glow mist is lighter and less long-lasting.
Shopper reactions
On the Facebook group Home Bargains Appreciation Society, shopper Jordan shared a photo of the £1.99 mist, writing: 'At long last! Before anyone jumps on saying it’s not the same as Sol De Janeiro, please don’t bother. It’s £3.99, compared to £28, of course it ain’t the same. But it smells very similar, in MY opinion. I have the original and only use it on occasion due to price. So for everyday use, this will definitely do!'
