Home Bargains customers are scrambling to get their hands on a £7.99 wireless LED glass lamp, which has been described as 'the prettiest' and draws comparisons to a designer Neom version costing £105. The budget-friendly item, first launched last year, has become a viral sensation on social media, with shoppers sharing their excitement and frustration over its limited availability.
In the Facebook group Home Bargains Appreciation Society, member Helen posted: 'Desperate for another of these lamps, my daughter in law asked for one for Christmas which I bought but now she want two, anybody seen them?' Her plea was met with mixed responses, with some shoppers confirming they had managed to buy one, while others lamented visiting multiple stores without success.
The lamp, which requires two triple-A batteries, has been promoted by TikToker Monochromeliving, who urged followers to 'RUN to Home Bargains for the prettiest no wire lamp £7.99!!!' In the caption, they added: 'THIS Neom inspired lamp is a dream.' The lamp bears a striking resemblance to Neom's £105 light-up glass aroma diffuser, as well as the £68 House of Isabella version, offering savings of up to £60.
Customer reactions have been overwhelmingly positive. One shopper, Dani, commented: 'I've had this since last year it's so lovely on.' Tracy said: 'I've had one well over a year there. It's really nice. I've got mine on my landing. Worth every penny.' However, others have struggled to find stock, with Yasmin admitting: 'Went to 3 different home bargains and still can't find it anywhere.'
The lamp is available in Home Bargains stores across the UK, though stock levels vary. Shoppers are advised to use the store locator on the Home Bargains website to check availability at their nearest branch. With Christmas approaching, demand is expected to remain high.
