The pub, which has been operational since the 1800s, was forced to close after shareholders decided to wind up The Arthurlie Inns Ltd, the company that owns the establishment.
Liquidation Details
The liquidation process began on June 23, following a decision by shareholders to appoint an insolvency practitioner. Steven Wright of Dains in Glasgow has been appointed as liquidator, and creditors have been asked to submit details of any amounts owed to them. The pub had been under the same ownership for the past 30 years.
Owner's Farewell Message
In a heartfelt message to customers, the owners expressed their gratitude: "To everyone who came in over the weekend, to everyone who ever had a drink in the Inns over the last 30 years, thank you to each and everyone of you. This place wouldn't have been anything without you lot." They also thanked Carol Anne and her family, saying, "The one that truly kept this place going, thank you for everything you did for us all, we absolutely love you."
