The Church View Inn, a Greene King pub in Lunts Heath, Cheshire, has reopened its doors after a temporary closure for a major refurbishment. The pub is now welcoming customers back to enjoy improved drinking and dining experiences, with enhancements including fresh interior furnishings.
Major transformation complete
The pub shut to the public on September 1 while the six-figure transformation took place. Now the setting has boosted its appeal with vibrant new signage, lighting, planters, barrel tables and seating to create the ultimate alfresco dining spot.

Interior revamp and facilities
Retaining its character, the inside has been revamped with fresh flooring and furnishings, lighting and décor, creating a warm pub welcome, while the toilets have also been fully refurbished.
Greene King operates dozens of managed and partnership sites across the north west, including the Albert Dock's Pump House, Lime Street's Lime Street Central, Smithdown Road's Willow Bank Tavern and West Derby's Royal Standard and Sefton Arms.
Food, sports, and opening hours
The Church View Inn will still be serving good food and drinks to suit all occasions, appetites and diets. It will continue to be a home from home for sports fans and entertainment lovers with Sky Sports and TNT Sports plus a busy events calendar.
The Greene King pub will be open Monday to Thursday, 12pm to 11pm, Friday, 12pm to midnight, and Saturday and Sunday 12pm to 11pm.
Another recent opening in the area
Another venue that has recently opened is Potters Sports Lounge Formby, with former Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard among the sporting stars involved in opening the lounge. The lounge was created from former office space on the first floor of 27 Brows Lane, located next to popular brunch spot, Emily's. The transformation was completed over the past four months and features 10 large TV screens - one 80-inch screen and nine 60-inch screens - showing Sky Sports and TNT Sports.
The lounge has been created by local business figures Jamie Rae, Sam Canning and Lee Byrne, who wanted to bring something different to Formby. Visitors can enjoy cocktails, wine, draught beers, bespoke wine and gin serves, matchday offers and a wide range of drinks. The walls are lined with signed sporting shirts and memorabilia from stars and teams across football, boxing, snooker and darts.
Potters Sports Lounge will be open from 10.30am to 11.30pm Sunday to Thursday, and from 10.30am to 12.30am on Fridays and Saturdays.
