The Three Tier Heated Airer is now available for £95 from Dunelm, offering a practical way to dry laundry indoors as colder and wetter weather makes outdoor drying more difficult. Running costs are estimated at from around 4p per hour, based on a July 2026 electricity rate of 26p per kWh, although the actual cost will depend on individual energy tariffs, the site says.
Design and features
Made from sturdy aluminium, the three-tiered airer heats up to speed up the drying process and provides enough space for up to 15kg of washing. Its vertical design offers 20 metres of drying space without taking up too much floor space, and the airer can be folded away neatly when not in use.
It can also be paired with the compatible Three Tier Heated Airer Cover, which creates an enclosed warm space around the laundry to help moisture evaporate more quickly.

The airer has been rated highly by shoppers. One said: "Excellent dryer, it's going to save us pounds. Helps with clothes that you can't tumble dry, too."

Some disagreed slightly, with one person saying: "Great idea, but the bars are too close together. This is so you can get more on, but still, I think it's the design itself that is at fault." Another wrote: "Love my airer. Unfortunately, it did stop working as well as it did first of all. Although Dunelm customer services were excellent in resolving the issue."
Alternative options
Another option is the Minky SureDri Three Tier Heated Clothes Airer for £119, down from £159, at Currys. This one is foldable, has a drying space of 21 metres and has adjustable feet which fold inwards.
Argos has its Argos Home 21m Three Tier Heated Clothes Airer for £70. This one has a total drying space of 21 metres, takes approximately seven hours to dry a full load and is said to be ideal for flat drying.
