Greggs is giving away tens of thousands of bakes in the hours leading up to England's round of 32 match against DR Congo in the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The promotion runs today (Wednesday, July 1) from 3pm to 5pm, offering more than 40,000 free bakes with the purchase of any iced drink.

Promotion Details

Customers who buy any iced drink—including the new Blueberry Matcha, Cherry Lemonade, or Iced Vanilla Latte—can get a free bake on the side. Eligible bakes include the classic Sausage Roll, the new Chicken Roll, the golden Steak Bake, and the Red Pepper & Feta Bake. The offer is available while stocks last in selected Greggs shops in England that have an iced drinks machine.

England's World Cup Match

The match kicks off at 5pm BST in Atlanta, as Thomas Tuchel's men seek a place in the last 16. The winners will face co-hosts Mexico at the Azteca Stadium in Mexico City. If England progresses, the next game will kick off at 1am on Monday, July 6. The match is broadcast live on BBC One, BBC iPlayer, and the BBC Sport website.

How to Claim

To claim the free bake, customers must purchase any iced drink of their choice and then select any Greggs bake to go with their order, free of charge. The offer is valid only on July 1, 2026, between 3pm and 5pm, while stocks last.
