Greggs 2026 Christmas menu brings back Pigs in Blankets

Greggs has launched its Christmas menu for 2026, and the return of a fan-favourite item has been confirmed. Pigs in Blankets are back in shops nationwide after a four-year absence, priced at £2.50 for a takeaway pot containing six pork sausages wrapped in smoked streaky bacon. The snack is also available for delivery via Just Eat and Uber Eats.

Fans react to the return

The item first launched in 2018 and quickly gained a devoted following. On Facebook, Garry Gammans called them 'smashing!', Panayiota K. Theodosiou described them as a 'dream come true,' and Theresa Louise wrote: 'Whoever thought of this should be awarded an OBE.' Since they were discontinued, Alan Smith wrote 'need them now,' and Ros Thomson asked if they were still available. On Instagram, @crookesjuliamarion commented 'Christmas dinner sorted,' while @saskiacurran said: 'Looks elite.'

New and returning items

Among the newly announced items is the Sweet Mince Pie Roll, priced from £1, featuring sweet mincemeat made from vine fruits, Bramley apples, and candied orange and lemon peel inside puff pastry, finished with icing sugar. The Sweet Mince Pies are back from £2.60 for a 6-pack, with vegan-friendly shortcrust pastry and the same festive filling. The Christmas Cake Slice returns from £1.50, packed with festive fruit and ground almonds, layered with apricot jam, almond marzipan, and white icing. Also returning are the Christmas Mini Caramel Shortbreads, priced from £2.50 for a 6-pack, featuring shortbread topped with caramel and white chocolate.

More items are expected to be revealed in the coming weeks as part of the chain's festive rollout.
