Popular Scottish bakery Bayne's The Family Bakery is offering a tasty giveaway for every Scotland World Cup win. Fans can claim a free sausage roll the morning after a victory in Group C matches.
Free Sausage Rolls for Scotland Wins
With Scotland's World Cup campaign starting this week, Bayne's has announced that if Scotland wins any of their Group C matches, they will give away 7,000 of their famous sausage rolls for free in stores the following morning.
Scotland's first match is against Haiti on Sunday, June 14, at 2am UK time. Many Scots will be watching from late-night pubs or watch parties. If Scotland secures a win, Bayne's will distribute the free sausage rolls on a first-come, first-served basis starting from store opening time, typically around 6am.
Bayne's has over 70 shops across Scotland, including in Stirling, Kirkcaldy, Edinburgh, Dundee, Glasgow, and Falkirk. The free sausage rolls will be evenly distributed among all stores. Customers simply need to visit their local Bayne's shop the morning after a confirmed Scotland tournament win, while stocks last.
Supporting the National Team
Bayne's joint managing director John Bayne said: "As a proud Scottish family business, we wanted to find a meaningful way to stand behind the national team during this tournament. This initiative is our way of bringing local communities together to celebrate these historic games."
He added: "Our retail and bakery teams across all 70 plus shops are fully prepared for the surge in demand, and we look forward to rewarding our customers the morning after a Scottish victory."
The giveaway also applies to Scotland's other Group C matches: against Morocco on June 19 and Brazil on June 24. Bayne's shared on social media: "Our bakery and retail teams are fully prepared for the surge in demand. Come on Scotland, let's give us all something to celebrate!"
