Apple fans can get a free set of AirPods 5 when buying an iPhone 18 Pro or Pro Max from Currys-backed retailer Mobiles.co.uk. The deal applies to select 24-month contracts and includes a tech bundle worth £138.
What the deal includes
The iPhone 18 Pro costs £56.99 per month on iD Mobile's 100GB tariff, with a £169 upfront cost. The iPhone 18 Pro Max is available for £60.99 per month with the same £169 upfront fee.
Each handset comes with AirPods 5 (usually £119), a 20W USB-C power adapter, and up to £480 off when trading in an eligible handset. Customers should note their bills will rise at least twice during the 24-month term: the £56.99 plan increases to £58.79 from April 2027 and £60.59 from April 2028.
iPhone 18 Pro features
The iPhone 18 Pro features a Super Retina XDR display, a 48MP Pro Fusion camera system, and the A20 Pro chip. The Pro Max runs 20% faster than the 17 Pro Max, with up to six more hours of video playback. It includes AI features from Siri and Apple Intelligence, available in burgundy, glacier black, or white.
The AirPods 5 offer Active Noise Cancellation up to 1.5 times more effective than the previous generation, richer sound, personalised Spatial Audio, and Live Translation. They run for up to four hours of continuous use and come with a USB-C charging case.
Other options and expert view
For a cheaper deal, iPhone 18 Pro contracts start at £38 per month with Sky Mobile, but this includes a £12 upfront cost and a 100MB data allowance. Amazon sells the device outright from £1,199.
Mobiles.co.uk's tech experts called the iPhone 18 Pro “an exciting evolution” in a review, noting it is the first Pro model with Siri AI. They said: “The iPhone 18 Pro is an interesting beast. It is the first time that a new iPhone lineup arrived without a base model at launch, making the Pro the most affordable entry point.”
They added: “Despite being aesthetically similar to preceding iPhones and carrying the same display, the iPhone 18 Pro is far more impressive when you unpack everything.” No deadline has been set for the deal, which is live while stocks last.
