Four markets featuring independent traders, handmade crafts and antiques will take place across Merseyside over the August bank holiday weekend. The events run from Saturday, August 29, to Sunday, August 30, across Allerton, Kirkby, Liverpool city centre and Aintree.
Allerton Hall Artisan Market
The Allerton Hall Artisan Market returns to Clarke Gardens in Allerton on Saturday, August 29. Stalls will showcase independent and handmade products, alongside cheese, baked goods and chocolate.
The bi-monthly market takes place at 1 Springwood Avenue, Allerton, Liverpool, L25 7UN, from 11am to 4pm. It offers a chance to browse stalls from local and independent sellers while enjoying the surrounding gardens.
Kirkby Town Centre and Bluecoat markets
Marvellous Markets will be held in Kirkby Town Centre on Saturday, August 29, as part of its regular programme of monthly markets. Running from 10.30am to 3pm, it features independent, artisan, local craft and gift stalls. The market is held on the last Saturday of the month from April to October, with free admission. It is located at Kirkby Town Centre, L32 8RD.
The Simply Vibrant Makers Market will take over the Bluecoat on School Lane on Saturday, August 29, and Sunday, August 30. Running from 11am to 4pm on both days, it showcases local artists and creatives, offering shoppers the chance to discover unique handmade creations. Entry is free. Aintree Antique and Collectors Fair
The Aintree Antique and Collectors Fair will be held at Aintree Racecourse on Sunday, August 30. The fair runs from 9am until 3pm and brings together antiques and collectibles, catering to those looking for something special for their home as well as trade buyers replenishing stock.
