Flat Iron, the popular UK steak chain, has confirmed that its new Birmingham restaurant will open in October. The branch, located on Temple Street, was originally scheduled to open this summer but has been delayed.

The news was shared on the restaurant's Facebook page, which said: "Get ready Birmingham, the countdown is on. We'll be opening on Temple Street this October. More details to follow x"
Food lovers in Birmingham have expressed excitement, with one person commenting: "Can't wait." Another wrote: "We have to go when it opens soooo yummy," and a third said: "So need to go when it's open."
Menu and expansion plans
In addition to its signature steaks, the restaurant will offer iconic side dishes such as bone marrow garlic mash, beef dripping chops, creamed spinach, and truffle macaroni cheese.
Flat Iron, founded in 2012 by Charlie Carroll, already has restaurants across London, as well as in Manchester, Leeds, Cambridge, Brighton, and Bristol. The chain plans to continue expanding nationwide, with its first Scottish branch scheduled to open on Glasgow's West George Street in 2027.
