Dunelm's clearance sale is offering up to 75% off a wide range of homeware, from bedding and dining chairs to corner sofas, garden furniture, and smaller accessories such as reed diffusers and toothbrush holders. The high street retailer's discounts arrive just in time for cooler, cosier days, giving shoppers the chance to refresh their spaces for autumn.
Whether shoppers want a few subtle changes or a more noticeable update, there are plenty of bargains to browse. Below are five standout finds from the sale that can give homes a seasonal spruce-up without breaking the bank.
Ottoman with built-in tray table
The Holland Woven Stripe Square Tray Table Ottoman is priced at £74.50, reduced from £149. This multifunctional piece features a reversible lid that doubles as a built-in tray table, creating a sturdy spot for a morning coffee, afternoon cuppa, or evening drink. Lifting the lid reveals internal storage, perfect for remote controls, magazines, and other living-room essentials. The plush, cushioned top adds a touch of luxury, while the modern wooden legs give the piece a minimalist, Scandi-inspired feel.
Velvet dining chairs and swivel coffee table
The Vivian Velvet Dining Chair is now £49.50, down from £99. These chairs feature plush velvet seats, scalloped edges, and brass-effect legs, bringing a touch of Art Deco glamour to the dining table without feeling overly formal. The upholstered finish gives them a soft, luxurious look, while the curved silhouette adds character. They are also available in a chic midnight blue, currently on sale for £49.50. For a more neutral colour, shoppers might enjoy the similar-looking Mink Velvet Dining Chair Set (£129.97 via Furniture 123), and matching bar stools are also available.
The Tessy Swivel Coffee Table is priced at £90.30, reduced from £129. Its sleek marble-effect top, paired with a dark wooden base, looks straight out of a showhome. The unique swivel feature allows shoppers to adjust the layout to suit their space. Adding a candle, a small bud vase, and a couple of hardback books can bring a touch of personality to the surface.
Side plates and washable rug
The Summer Sundae Set of 4 Side Plates is an absolute bargain at £2.50, down from £10, making each plate 62p with the discount. These pastel-toned plates are ideal for serving small bites, nibbles, or a post-dinner dessert. Pair them with a neutral linen tablecloth or woven place mats to let the soft pastel shades pop without overpowering the setting. To build a coordinated look, shoppers can pair the plates with Next's Multi Pastel Ribbed Stacking Mugs (£18).
The Sabrina Floral Washable Rug is priced at £44.50, reduced from £89. This vibrant, machine-washable rug brings cosiness and character to a room while helping to define areas and tie together a colour palette. It is built to survive everything from sloshed red wine to muddy paw prints—just pop it on a gentle cycle at 30 degrees and air-dry flat. However, one shopper noted it's better for carpets than hard floors: "It's very thin and it squeaks and moves underfoot. Might suit being laid on a carpet better, but definitely no good for hard floors."
