EasyJet to End All Leeds Bradford Flights from January 5

EasyJet has announced it will scrap all flights from Leeds Bradford Airport (LBA) from January 5, 2027, as part of a strategic review of its routes.

Routes Affected and Customer Options

The budget carrier confirmed it is pulling out of the airport from January to "focus on maintaining and developing" its "most popular" routes. Travellers departing from LBA have been able to fly to Barcelona, Paris, Belfast, Malaga, Mallorca and Geneva, but these services will end from January 5, 2027.

EasyJet confirmed that customers with bookings after that date have been offered a complimentary transfer to flights departing from another airport or a full refund. The airline has yet to clarify whether all remaining scheduled services to its destinations from Leeds Bradford Airport will operate as planned, reports the Mirror. However, its website showed no available flights from LBA to Geneva, while services to Malaga and Mallorca appeared to cease after November. Flights to Barcelona, Paris and Belfast still seemed bookable until January.

We value the relationship we have built with Leeds Bradford Airport and we always keep options for our network under review, with the aim of providing more choice and connectivity where we see demand."
