EasyJet has announced two new routes from Manchester Airport to Nuremberg and Vienna, launching later this year. The airline will operate twice-weekly flights to Nuremberg, Germany, starting November 2, 2026, on Mondays and Fridays. This marks the first time easyJet has served Nuremberg, making it a brand-new destination for both the airline and Manchester Airport.
Vienna Service Begins November 19
On November 19, 2026, easyJet will commence services to Vienna, Austria, also operating twice a week on Mondays and Fridays. Vienna is a new destination for easyJet from Manchester Airport, adding to the airline's growing network.
Christmas Market Appeal
Both cities are renowned for their spectacular Christmas markets. Nuremberg, located in Bavaria, features a fairytale old town with medieval half-timbered houses. During the festive season, it hosts the Christkindlesmarkt, one of the largest and oldest Christmas markets in Germany, where visitors can sample traditional Bratwurst and Glühwein.
Vienna, the capital of Austria, is famous for its cafe culture, classical music, and stunning architecture, including Schönbrunn Palace and the Hofburg Palace. The city boasts numerous Christmas markets, with the largest at Rathausplatz Christkindlmarkt, set against the town hall. Other markets can be found at Schönbrunn Palace, Belvedere Palace, and Spittelberg.
