Sainsbury's most stores will open from 8am to 8pm, closing two hours earlier than usual, with Scottish stores maintaining regular hours from 7am to 10pm.
Asda's bigger stores will operate from 8am to 10pm, with Scottish stores keeping regular hours. Waitrose will run at slightly reduced times, with most stores open from 8am to 6pm. Lidl's hours vary by location; in Scotland and within the M25 boundary, trading will be normal, while elsewhere stores are likely to open from 8am to 8pm.
The Co-op and Iceland will mostly open as usual, but customers are advised to check local store hours online before travelling. Tesco Express and Sainsbury's Local convenience stores will operate their regular hours, though times may vary.
