Dyson has reduced its new V10 Konical cordless vacuum cleaner by £120 ahead of the Bank Holiday weekend, bringing the price down from £449.99 to £329.99. A similar deal is available at Amazon, where the same model is priced at £329, down from £449.99.
Features and design
The V10 Konical is part of Dyson's new 'Konical' range, featuring two conical brush bars designed to de-tangle both short and long hair up to 25 inches. This makes it particularly suitable for homes with pets, as it removes hair directly into its dustbin.
The vacuum operates with three adjustable power modes – Eco, Medium and MAX – and works on a range of floor types. Its conical brush bars have nylon bristles that dig deep into carpets, while softer fibres are used for cleaning hard floors without scratching.
Dyson states the V10 Konical delivers 150 Air Watts of power with a digitally controlled motor that spins up to 110,000rpm for 'powerful' fade-free suction. A blade of 'laser-like' green light in the brush head illuminates hard-to-see debris, with the company claiming it can reveal 'microscopic' dust and dirt.
Battery and accessories
The vacuum is powered by a battery that runs for up to 60 minutes, and the included Wall Dock allows for convenient storage while charging. It comes with several accessories, including a mini motorised tool for cleaning mattresses, upholstery and stairs, plus a crevice tool for narrow spaces.
For cleaning furniture, stairs or the car, the Dyson can be converted into a lightweight handheld vacuum with an ergonomic handle. Dyson is not the only brand cutting prices ahead of the Bank Holiday, as SharkNinja is also offering discounts across its range.
Among the popular models is the Shark PowerPro Pet Cordless Stick Vacuum at £199.99, reduced from £319.99. This device features Shark's Anti Hair Wrap and Floor Detect functions, and is said to deliver 'powerful' suction hair pickup. For a more affordable option, the Inteture Cordless Vacuum Cleaner is reduced to £99.99 (was £159.99) at Amazon and has a perfect five-star rating.
