What shoppers say about the Providence bed
The bed is selling fast in the sale and is currently only available in double size. Those needing a larger option could choose the Cheshire Ottoman Storage Bed, on sale in king size, down from £519 to £415, a saving of £104.
The Providence bed has received glowing feedback on the Dusk website. One shopper wrote: "Worth the money. This really is a stunning bed. Very simple to build (oddly the headboard was most challenging) but so pleased with it that I have bought another for my spare room. The quality is impressive and the colour matches the photos."
A second happy customer said: "I was not expecting the bed to be such high quality, was pleasantly surprised and had my expectations exceeded! You get clear instructions that are actually easy to follow, all of the parts to build it are separated out and labelled with the right amount of everything. The bed is sturdy, heavy and is absolutely beautiful. There is masses of storage space, so much more than I was expecting. I’m thrilled with this bed. I was so happy with this bed I have ordered a second bed from Dusk for the spare room, that is how highly I recommend this bed."
Other ottoman bed options
Some shoppers mark the bed down due to the tricky headboard. One review reads: "Overall I'm pleased. Lovely bed, pleased with the colour, well made, great delivery service, only gripe is the headboard comes in three parts and the joins are noticeable which is disappointing."
Another popular option is Dunelm's Emberly Chenille Ottoman Bed Frame, which has a neutral beige tone that would fit a range of interior styles. The headboard has a luxe look thanks to the deep buttoned quilting, and the hidden storage space underneath opens at the bottom for easy access. There are two sizes available, with the double priced at £349 and the king size at £399.
Next's Soft Velvet Matson Ottoman Storage Bed Frame is also highly recommended by shoppers, ranging from £575 to £675 depending on the size (small double, double and king). It offers spacious storage underneath and sprung slats for cushioned support, with a huge selection of upholstered fabrics available.
