Dunelm's Good Housekeeping-approved cotton duvet cover has been reduced by 75%, with prices starting at just £5.50. The Pure Cotton Plain Dye Duvet Cover in natural was originally £22 for a double but is now available for £5.50. The king-size is £7.25 (down from £29) and the super king-size is £8.50 (down from £34). The savings are part of Dunelm's summer sale, running until Monday, August 17.
Soft and breathable cotton
Made from responsibly sourced 100% cotton, the duvet cover features a soft 180 thread count and a button fastening. It is designed to be breathable and cool against the skin, ideal for summer nights. Dunelm offers a five-year guarantee on the product.
The duvet cover does not include pillowcases. Matching pillowcases are available separately for £7 a pair. Shoppers can also choose from over 40 other colours, priced between £12 and £34 depending on size.

The bedding has an overall star rating of 4.2 out of five based on more than 830 reviews. One satisfied shopper said: "Very smooth and cool fabric, ideal for warmer weather. A lovely subtle colour and very good value for money." Another wrote: "Perfect set, loved it so much I bought the matching pillowcases and fitted sheet. Easy to wash, doesn’t need ironing. Feels luxurious. Very pleased."
Some customers noted colour discrepancies. A three-star review stated: "Colour is slightly more orange than the pictures. Feels nice on the skin, and quality feels appropriate for the price." Another said: "I bought the Lavender duvet set but I have to say, it looks nothing like lavender at all. It's more like a pale grey shade."
