Crosby Coffee, the Merseyside specialty coffee brand, has announced it will open its fifth store in Southport, saying the brand will 'shine' in the town. The company already operates four shops across Merseyside and works with hundreds of wholesale partners nationwide.
From Crosby roots to new venture
The business was founded in 2014 by Jack Foster, who originally worked in hospitality, and his business partner Mark Slinger, a former building surveyor. The two grew up on the same street in Crosby and attended the same school before choosing different career paths and later coming together to create the brand.
The new coffee shop will be located in Eastbank, also known as the Enterprise Arcade, which opened in 2025. The Crown Buildings site on Eastbank Street, historically used by Edwardian shopkeepers, underwent a £1.5 million transformation and now offers a modern co-working space tailored to entrepreneurs and small businesses in the digital and creative sectors.
Council welcomes investment
Cllr Paulette Lappin, Sefton Council’s Cabinet Member for Regeneration, Economy and Skills, said: "This is another important milestone for Eastbank and a real vote of confidence in what we are creating in the heart of Southport."

Owners express excitement
The friends' most recent opening came last year on Glegg Street in Vauxhall; their other locations include Waterloo, Lark Lane and Hightown.
