Coca-Cola Zero Sugar Holiday Creamy Vanilla, a limited-edition festive flavour never before sold in UK supermarkets, is set to arrive on shelves. The drink will be available in 500ml and two-litre bottles, as well as eight-can multipacks.
New flavour announced
The product was unveiled on social media by New Foods UK, which said it will be retailing “any time now”. “Brand new Holiday Creamy Vanilla Coca-Cola coming to shops any time now!” the account declared in an Instagram caption.
Announcing the limited-edition product, Coca-Cola Great Britain’s senior brand manager Charlotte Butt said: “Coca-Cola and the festive season have always been a special combination, and this year we’re excited to bring fans something new to enjoy.”
Fans react
She continued: “We know that holiday flavour-seekers are increasingly looking for new and exciting taste experiences and would be interested in trying Coca-Cola Holiday Creamy Vanilla, which brings a smooth, creamy vanilla twist to the iconic Coca-Cola taste. We hope this gives people another reason to pause and enjoy a moment for themselves this festive season.”
The flavour was first introduced in the United States in November last year, where its cream soda-esque taste proved popular. In the UK, one Coke fan enthused: “Had the US (non-zero) version last year and loved it. Will be stocking up.”
A second person shared: “Tried this in America when I was on holiday last year and LOVED it! Can’t wait.” A third exclaimed: “I’ve been looking for diet vanilla Coke for ages! Glad it’s coming back!”
