Chopstix, described as the UK's 'most famous' noodle bar, is set to open in Gateshead's Trinity Square next month, with queues expected outside on launch day.

Opening details and freebies

The new branch will open on Thursday, August 20, following the success of its Newcastle outlet on Northumberland Street, which opened last year. To celebrate, Chopstix will give away free medium boxes to the first 100 customers, along with 1,000 portions of spring rolls. Throughout the day, customers can also win free merchandise, discount vouchers, and app points.

Menu and popularity

Chopstix is known for its quick-service Asian cuisine, offering takeaway classics like Sweet & Sour Chicken and Salt ‘N’ Pepper Chicken, as well as fresh options such as Chicken Katsu Curry and its signature Caramel Drizzle Chicken. The chain has a presence in nearly every major UK city and has become one of the country's most popular quick service restaurants.
