Bunny Jackson's, the Manchester brand known for its 50p chicken wings, is opening Bunny's Kitchen inside the new Junkyard Social Club at Liverpool ONE this October. It will be the brand's first venue outside Manchester, with Bunny's Kitchen taking over a space at the front of the new venue, next to the stage.
Since launching in 2017, Bunny Jackson's has sold more than eight million wings in Manchester. In Liverpool, diners can choose from its crispy-coated wings or versions covered in house sauces including Buffalo, Nashville Hot and BBQ. The menu also includes beef and chicken burgers, loaded fries, tater tots, mozzarella sticks and onion rings.
Hot Wings Challenge and student deals
Bunny's Kitchen will also bring its Hot Wings Challenge to Liverpool. The challenge features Hotter Than The Sun, the hottest wing on the menu. Those who take it on will get a t-shirt and a place on the challenge wall, whether they win or lose.
Students can take advantage of Bunny's Wing Wednesday. Every Wednesday, students with valid Student ID who are signed up to Friends of Ours can get 10p wings and unlimited free crazy golf all day. Friends of Ours is a discount card that gives members money off at a range of bars, as well as a free drink when they sign up.
Junkyard Social Club transformation
The new Bunny's Kitchen will form part of the wider Junkyard Social Club, which will transform the existing Junkyard Golf Club site into an all-night social venue. The new space will feature a stage, a dive-bar-style area with walk-up pool and interactive darts, American cornhole, two UV karaoke rooms and a bookable games area with arcade classics including Dance Revolution, Guitar Hero and Street Fighter.
Bunny Jackson's will also bring its Bandaoke nights to Liverpool, combining a live band with an open mic. The Manchester venue has previously attracted a few famous faces, including Olivia Rodrigo, who visited after her 2022 SOUR Tour show and performed Natalie Imbruglia's Torn.
Sam Jones, managing director at Junkyard, said: “Food was always going to be a big part of the transformation, and we wanted a partner that people genuinely get excited about. Bunny's has been a Manchester staple for years, so it felt right to finally bring them over to Liverpool.”
