A British man living in Benidorm has hailed a Sunday roast dinner at a local venue as 'an absolute bloody bargain' after paying just €12 (£10.40) for the meal. Harry, a TikTok content creator who has made the Spanish resort his home, visited Uncle Ron's, which is known locally for its €1 pint and affordable food.
In a video shared with his followers, Harry said: 'Today, I'm here at Uncle Ron's, locally famous for the €1 pint and what might be the cheapest Sunday roast in Benidorm. Just ordered myself a chicken roast at a mental price of €12. Do you think that's cheap? 'Cause I do.'
The clip then showed the arrival of the dish, with Harry lifting his plate towards the camera and praising the generous portion. 'Look at the size of this roast dinner and guess what? It's only €12, what an absolute bloody bargain,' he said. He also noted that the meal came with a jug of gravy, adding: 'I can't get over the fact that this is all €12... as far as value goes, you're not gonna get better value than this anywhere else in Benidorm.'
Benidorm, a coastal Spanish resort known for its nightlife and beaches, attracts millions of visitors annually. According to the Visit Benidorm report, the destination welcomed over three million visitors in 2025, with around 900,000 travelling from the UK.
In the comments section, fellow TikTok users shared their reactions. One wrote: '13 Euros with a pint - Holy Moly!' However, others were unimpressed by the idea of having a Sunday roast while on holiday.
