Boots shoppers are raving over a 'classy' perfume that can be snapped up from the retailer for half-price. Gucci Flora Gorgeous Orchid would usually cost £99 for a 50ml bottle but has dropped down to £49.50.
Gorgeous Orchid is quite simple being made up of three parts, a vanilla duo top note, vanilla orchid heart and base of 'ozonic notes'. Ozonic notes are described as a blend of fragrance notes that evoke the smell of fresh, open air, ocean breezes, or sea mist.
It was crafted by perfumer Marie Salamagne, who is known for hits like Black Opium by Yves Saint Laurent (£56) and By the Fireplace by Maison Martin Margiela (£49.60).
Gucci Flora Gorgeous Orchid has pulled in an average rating of 4.8 out of five from across over 4,600 reviews. One shopper wrote: 'Gucci you have outdone yourself! So subtle, classy and light. The scent is absolutely heavenly and I told my husband he needs to buy me a bottle! I am obsessed with the Gucci Flora Gorgeous Orchid perfume!'
Another praised it for smelling 'like money', saying: 'This is the smell of luxury, I swear. It stays on all day. You can even smell it the day after. I wear this on the most special occasions where I want to smell like money. It never leaves oil spots on my clothes or even on a fresh spray tan. The texture is so soft I love!'
