Boots shoppers can currently get their hands on a highly favoured designer perfume at half price. The Mugler Alien Hypersense Eau de Parfum 60ml has been reduced from £99 down to £49.50 as part of the retailer's 'star gift' savings event.
Reduced for a limited time only, over 100 customers have added it to their basket today alone. The scent opens with top notes of green mandarin and pear, with a jasmine heart and base notes of cashmeran, musk, amberwood, and driftwood.
Shopper praise for the fragrance
Floral and woody in equal parts, shoppers have praised the Mugler Alien Hypersense EDP for being "long lasting" and a true compliment magnet. One shopper said: "My son bought this for me by mistake, I requested Alien which I still like but this is another level.
"Love it and get stopped all the time to ask me what it is or just to say how good I smell."
Another pleased shopper said: "Lasts long on the skin, parfums just don't last anymore, this is a gorgeous smell. I rave to everyone about it." A third fan said: "Great fragrance. Lasts well. Wouldn't be without a Mugler perfume."
Mixed reviews and other offers
However, the unique scent profile may not suit everyone's taste. One shopper said: "I really wanted to like Mugler Alien Hypersense, but it just wasn't for me. The scent was a bit too strong and bold, and it felt overwhelming after a while. I usually like unique perfumes, but this one didn't sit right on my skin."
Another half price option is the YSL Libre L'Absolu Platine 50ml which usually retails for £132 but is currently on offer for £66 after a double discount. Described as an 'elevated' version of the signature Libre scent, the Libre L'Absolu Platine has fresh and bright notes you can wear day into night.
