Health and beauty retailer Bodycare is returning to UK high streets with 17 new and reopened stores after closing all its locations in late 2025. The retailer, which entered administration that year, has unveiled a fresh new look as part of its comeback, including a rebranded website and updated store concept.
New Store Features
While the brand has undergone a visual makeover, it says customers can still expect the same low-cost prices. Bodycare is revitalising its physical presence with redesigned stores featuring dedicated K-beauty sections, expanded fragrance ranges, and professional piercing studios. The new-format stores will also include content creator studios where new products can be showcased, as well as demonstration areas and live broadcast spaces designed to engage shoppers.
Locations Confirmed
Bodycare has confirmed 17 locations across the UK, with most situated in the north of England. The first of the retailer's new-look stores opened at The Moor in Sheffield this month. The full list includes: The Moor, Sheffield; Highcross, Leicester; Derbion, Derby; Merry Hill, Brierley Hill; The Broadway, Bradford; The Mall, Blackburn; St John’s Centre, Leeds; Mill Gate, Bury; The Centre, Livingston; The Bridges, Sunderland; Cwmbran Centre, Cwmbran; Metrocentre, Gateshead; The Fort, Glasgow; Frasers Plus, Luton; Golden Square, Warrington; Grosvenor Shopping Centre, Northampton; and Trinity Walk, Wakefield.
Background and Expansion Plans
The relaunch comes after Bodycare's dramatic high street collapse in late 2025, when the retailer entered administration and ultimately closed around 150 stores. The final 56 locations shut in September 2025, including branches at Clayton Square in Liverpool and Golden Square shopping centre in Warrington. The retailer, which was founded from a market stall in Lancashire in 1970, initially announced plans to return to the high street in April this year, revealing it intended to open 15 stores within a year. It has now confirmed 17 locations, with further openings hinted at. On its website, Bodycare teased: "We're just getting started."
