Early Black Friday savings at B&M
The high street retailer has launched its Black Friday sale ahead of schedule, offering up to 50 percent off across a range of products, from tech gadgets to beauty buys. The Estée Lauder Pleasures EDP is among the discounted items, with the 50ml bottle now priced at £21.99, down from its £72 RRP.
At other retailers, the same product remains at full price. Boots and the Estée Lauder website are both still charging the original £72, making B&M's offer a standout deal for fragrance shoppers.
About Estée Lauder Pleasures
Estée Lauder is known for its wide range of scents, including the iconic Youth Dew, which was once described as "the sexiest ever made." The Pleasures EDP, created by founder Evelyn Lauder in 1995, was said to have "set the trend for uplifting, airy fragrances." Lauder designed it to have a sheer, elusive, luminous quality intended "to celebrate life's simple pleasures."
Dubbed "sheer optimism in a bottle," the fragrance belongs to the sheer, floral family, with an aroma said to "delight the senses in every season." It opens with notes of white lily, violet leaves and green accents, moves into middle notes of black lilac, white peony, karo-karounde blossoms, baie rose, pink rose and jasmine, and finishes with warmer textures of sandalwood and patchouli.
The bottle's simple, minimalist transparent design and silver-toned spherical cap reflect the light, airy nature of the perfume. Speaking about the creation of Pleasures, Evelyn Lauder said: "Whatever the fragrance was to be, I wanted it to have an elusive, textural quality. And we have achieved it with Estée Lauder Pleasures. For the first time, there is a fragrance that unfolds like a flower in the warmth of the sun, surrendering its scent little by little."
Other designer perfume deals
B&M is also offering other designer fragrances at reduced prices. The Marc Jacobs Honey EDP (100ml) is priced at £24.99, down from its £99 RRP. Said to "sparkle with warmth and charm," it features fresh, fruity notes with a golden touch of honey. At Boots, it is on sale for £74.25, while Savers stocks it for £29.99, both more expensive than B&M.
For men, the Hugo Boss Man (100ml) is available for £24.99, compared with its retail price of £75. With notes of red apple, coriander, incense, woodsy accords and vanilla, it has been called "the perfect fragrance for the modern man." The same 200ml aftershave is priced at £44.99 at The Perfume Shop and £37.50 at Boots.
